  1. TBH, it’s great the are finally speaking up. Bu it’s awful they are making this political. They are acting like society is what made this happen. Even when women are taught about these dangers AND what to do about them from parents, teachers etc and of course the law protects people from crimes like this no matter who the victims or perpetrators are.

So it is good that this is out there obviously for people that honestly just didn’t learn these things, even though I consider them common sense, far from the narrative that “society taught me it was ok if I was treated this way” or “I thought it was expected I would be treated this way” if that was true why would we even be talking about your story on the news or in time? Society would be ignoring it! I’ve never met a single person who would ever try to justify it being okay.

Additionally, if these people came forward earlier imagine how many people they would have saved from being victims. Instead of being on the cover of time and talking about it, they could have actually done something about it when it happened and they would actively have helped other people not experience it. But instead they are telling people things they already knew and helped far fewer people since the criminals were active for many, many years before, for some odd reason, no one spoke up about these crimes being committed.

In any other instance, I would consider these people complicit in keeping this criminal safe by not speaking to police or media about illegal things you know they were doing. At least they are doing in now. I don’t blame them too much since they are only human after all and probably genuinely were confused about what to do.

  2. Seeing All these butt hurt rape apologists hating on this and making up excuses is an example of how low we’ve sunk in society. I bet I’m gonna get a reply on this comment along these lines.

  3. Did these women realize Time covered up for Harvey Weinstein 13 years ago and that half of those girls on the cover probably wouldn't have got sexually assaulted if you guys wouldn't have stayed silent?

  4. Celebrities on the cover. Where are the domestic workers, factory workers, office workers, servers, teachers, and fry cooks? They had no voice, and still have no voice. Nothing will change for them. How many of these women will advocate for them?

  5. I am breaking silence today my comments never gets attention even though they make a lot more sense than most of the guys all I get is 1 like and may be a reply…..
    I seek justice……..

  6. And this woman, brushes and bunnies simply posted to time that she liked their cover… And the crazies let lose… Called her a bitch… She's a bitch because she had an opinion… She said thank you Time… That made her a bitch… And prove every woman's point… Thank you
